The Fall Season is scheduled for Sep. 26th to Dec. 7th
HANOVER, Mass. ─ Uptime United has released the dates for the 2022 Fall Season and players can now register for the Fortnite, Rocket League and Valorant club teams. The 10-week season is scheduled to begin on September 26th and end on December 7th with the NECL National Championships.
Players from all over the country can play on an Uptime United team as we have locations across the United States (To see if one of our locations is near you, navigate to our locations page). If we have yet to expand to your area, we have an online option that still gives players a chance to be a part of a team and learn, but from the comfort of your home.
Regardless of in-person or online status, each player that signs up for the season will be evaluated and placed on a team of players of their relative age and skill level. They will then each participate in a weekly practice and skills session, alongside their teammates, led by a professional STEM certified coach. Through these skill building opportunities, teammates will have the chance to build relationships with one another, learning play styles and developing strategies with the help of their coaches to maximize each player’s skills and create a successful team.
Teams will then have opportunities to try their skills against their peers each Saturday of the season through competition in the National Esports Champions League (NECL). There will be a National Championship for Fortnite, Rocket League and Valorant with scores each week tallying up to allow teams to qualify and play for the national title. Depending on the standings at the end of the regular season and the game in which they play, teams will be oriented into the corresponding bracket (ex: championship or consolation) for the National Championship and be pitted against one another one last time to determine the winner.
