The Spring Season is scheduled for Feb. 13th to Apr. 27th
HANOVER, Mass. ─ Uptime United has released the dates for the 2023 Spring Season and players can now register for the Fortnite, Rocket League and Valorant club teams. The 10-week season is scheduled to begin on February 13th and end on April 27th with the VHEL National Championships.
Players from all over the country can play on an Uptime United team. If we have yet to expand to your area, we have an online option that still gives players a chance to be a part of a team and learn, but from the comfort of your home.
Regardless of in-person or online status, each player that signs up for the season will be evaluated and placed on a team of players of their relative age and skill level. They will then each participate in a weekly practice and skills session, alongside their teammates, led by a professional STEM certified coach. Through these skill building opportunities, teammates will have the chance to build relationships with one another, learning play styles and developing strategies with the help of their coaches to maximize each player’s skills and create a successful team.
Teams will then have opportunities to try their skills against their peers through competition in the VHEL. There will be a national championship for Fortnite, Rocket League, and Valorant with scores each week tallying up to allow teams to qualify and play for the national title. Depending on the standings at the end of the regular season and the game in which they play, teams will be oriented into the corresponding bracket (ex: championship or consolation) for the national championship and be pitted against one another one last time to determine the winner.
