Week 1: Starry Starry Night – Your child will create their version of the famous masterpiece Starry Night by Vincent VanGogh. Simple materials mixed with your child’s imagination will create a masterpiece you won’t believe.
Week 2: Fishing with Magnets – Exploring magnets is a fun way for preschoolers to learn about science and experiment! In this activity we go fishing with magnets to learn about what sticks to a magnet and what doesn’t. By playing with magnets kids can learn the difference between metals and other materials like plastics and wood. Plus, they have lots of fun making their fishing poles and seeing what they can reel in!
Week 3: Exploring Minecraft – Perfect for first timers or more experienced minecrafters. Minecraft is like digital legos. Kids will use their creativity to build a structure and share it with the group.
Week 4: Noodle Robots – Kids make and decorate their own pool noodle robot. We use our hands and basic materials to construct the robot, and then let the kids get creative in how they decorate their own. So much FUN!
Week 5: Exploring Roblox – Kids explore different educational and fun games in Roblox this week. Everything from designing structures, running businesses, even playing hide and seek! Roblox is so much fun for young children.
Week 6: Skittles Rainbows – For our final session we will have fun making rainbow art using nothing but skittles, hot water, and our imagination. Kids will learn about primary colors and how to mix them to make a full rainbow of colors. This activity is great for little artists and lets them show off their creativity!
